2023Innomotics GmbH is a leading global provider of electric motors and large drive systems, combining deep technical expertise and leading innovation in electrical solutions across industries and regions. With more than 150 years of experience in the development of electric motors, the company is the backbone for reliable drive technology in industry and infrastructure worldwide.
The global player’s portfolio, with a sales volume of 3.3 billion euros, includes products as well as projects and services in the engine and large drive sector. As part of the carve-out from the parent company, the company was looking for a new partner for payroll and HR. The aim of this transformation program was to define new solutions and processes that would enable a multinational corporation to respond agilely and flexibly to changing market requirements and the new, independent company.

Role of Zalaris
Innomotics relies on Zalaris PeopleHub as a global solution, integrated with SAP SuccessFactors and Zalaris’ outsourcing services. The customer thus benefits from Zalaris’ complete product and service portfolio. All solutions and modules are expected to be implemented within about 22 months of the collaboration starting in 2023. The cooperation also includes extensive consulting services in the context of the implementation of the solutions as well as the outsourcing of payroll accounting and other HR services to Zalaris.

Outcomes achieved
Innomotics has implemented Zalaris PeopleHub, a SAP SuccessFactors solution, to cover the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment to complex HR analyses. The solution went live in October 2023, with modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting and Onboarding, and Zalaris eFile. Other modules will be introduced quarterly by 2025. Zalaris PeopleHub offers outsourcing services for payroll accounting, e-files, time management, travel and expense accounting, and knowledge management, including Zalaris’ AI-based digital assistant “Zally.”
We are very proud to embark on this complex and challenging transformation and stand-alone journey together with Innomotics. Halfway through the journey, we have already managed to separate over 20 countries from the old systems and processes and transfer them to the new world. In the course of this, SAP SuccessFactors was introduced and integrated with our Zalaris PeopleHub. With Zalaris PeopleHub, we can offer companies a standardized solution and integration concept with SAP SuccessFactors that ensures both local compliance and cost efficiency.
